The Pasadena Playhouse was established in 1917 and is the official State Theatre of California. In recent years, The Playhouse has become instrumental in launching new works and landmark revivals for the American Theatre. The Playhouse has displayed a commitment to cultural and theatrical diversity, which is reflected in seasons featuring Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning plays.
Bluelounge designed a folder brochure intended for prespective donors and outreach giving. For the theme, we used bold inspirational words that represent The Playhouse to bring an unexpected interaction when you open the brochure flap.
This interaction followed through to the 2012-2013 Subscription Campaign "Better Than Ever". The color panels are vibrant and bold reflecting the excitement of the theater. Bluelounge created print materials, ads, signage and web banners for the various shows of the subscription year.
